What is the best course for me?

• If you have a career in mind you will need to ask yourself are there any subjects you might need to take? If you are unsure of this ASK!
• You may already enjoy some subjects and want to continue studying these.
• Keep your options open if you do not know what you want to do after year 11.
• Think what optional subjects you might need in the future? If you want to go to university or have a career path in mind what subjects do you need to help you achieve your goal?
• Is your school holding an event where you and your parents/carers can find out more about the subjects your school offers?
• Have some second choice options in reserve just in case you don't get your first choice.
• Visit your school Connexions resource centre/Careers library and find out more about different subject and careers.
