What qualifications would I need to get on a college course?

The simple answer is there is a course for everyone regardless of qualifications. Most colleges have different levels of entry. These range from Entry level courses (or none exam), through to levels 1, 2, and the highest level 3 courses or A Levels (these require 5 GCSE’s at A-C or equivalent) and usually asking for English Language at C or above. The better qualifications you get from school the higher level you will access and the less time it will take you to get college qualifications. This is why it is so important for you to make the most of school and work hard to achieve the very best grades you can.

Levels 1 and 2 courses usually requires some qualifications for entry but this depends on the course and the department. A rule of thumb is the more competitive areas the area, the more selective they are.
