What is an Entry to Employment programme or E2e?

Entry to Employment, more commonly known as E2e are programmes offered by local training providers. They usually last from approximately 3 months to a year. You do not necessarily need qualifications for these but should check with the provider. E2e programmes are used as a pathway to other opportunities, either employment, training or college)

The programmes are set up to provide a combination of: -

• Training centre support tailored to your needs
• Work experience through job sampling (either general or in a specific career area). The training provider works with local employers to provide you with actual work experience.
• You will be provided with a Key Worker to help you apply for jobs and gain skills and confidence to secure employment.
• You will receive support with personal and social skills covering communication, interviews and personal presentations.
• There is the opportunity to achieve Maths and English qualifications if required.

If you qualify for EMA you can access this while doing an E2e training programmes.
