What is an e-portfolio?

An e-portfolio is an electronic format for you to record your work, your achievements and your goals, to reflect on your learning, and to share and be supported in this. It enables you to represent the information in different formats and to take the information with you as you move through different stages of your education.

What does an e-portfolio do?

An e-portfolio will help you to store your coursework including text, images, sound and video, assessments, CVs, presentations, journals, records of achievements, qualifications and tutorials, as well as your own informal notes to support your learning.

What is PebblePad?

PebblePad is a pilot ePortfolio system may be used by schools and colleges to store and record work that you create i.e. your e-portfolio. Your teacher or tutor will also use PebblePad to make sure your coursework and achievements are being recorded onto the system.  PebblePad is easy to use and a great way of making sure all your work is one place.  It will make your life easier so when you leave school or college you have everything you need under one roof!
